4 of us came for 4 nights for the Nove Colli bike race. The hotel was better than we had hoped, geared around cyclists. A choice of 3 or 4 rides a day, all starting at 9.30, 40 to 120 km with accurate metres climbed and average speeds. GUides tend to only speak Italian but know where great coof stops are. We had 4 various coffee’s for 6 euro! Wow. Breakfast superb, supper great, and a lunch included which we hadn’t realised. All way better than simple fuel for cycling. And for race day, breakfast at 4am! Start line is a simple flat 3km away. Good bike storage, pumps, tools etc. All you need. And great cycling. I would love to come back for a few days.
+ Very good location in the center of Riccione and very close to the beach
+ The breakfast was very good compared to other Italian hotels
+ The rooms were very clean and the cleaners did a very good job
+ The hotel staff was very friendly (a special thanks to Elena from the reception and Ada from the bar)
+ There is a cool rooftop bar, unfortunately it was too hot spend much time up there
+ The W-Lan was included
– The rooms were small, however for only 3 nights it was ok for us
One of the best hotels I ever been. It is really excellent at all. I have been there for the exhibition in Rimini, but first of all Riccione is much better than Rimini and then you are very near to Rimini. All my best for the hotel. Simply the best one.
I spent 3 nights at the Lungomare.. was such a pleasant experience.
The staff are friendly and very efficient. You feel like family here.
The location is perfect. My room faced the ocean with a nice lanai to sit outside and enjoy the view. You are a couple of blocks from the best shopping at the walking street. There is a nice bike lane and running path the runs the length of the beach.
We ate in a couple of restaurants a block or two from the hotel.. Kalamaro Fritto and Hops! both were excellent as well.
Breakfast is on the 5th floor with floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety.. fresh fruit and excellent bread and pastry.
I plan to return this summer with friends
My wife and I stated at the Lungomare hotel for one week in June 2012, and the experience was marvelous. The hotel is well situated in Riccione, has a beautiful ocean-front setting, is very clean, and the staff is excellent and friendly. Morning breakfast is top rate. One day, we wanted to go to Rimini to see the Augustan Arch, and was given excellent advice for directions and restaurant choices by one of the staff who actually lives in Rimini. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Everything you’d expect from 4 star hotel. Breakfast was in top floor with excellent view and breakfast itself was good and not too excessive: selection was limited but the content was fresh and really tastefull. None of that industrial eggs and stuff.
Aboslutely no complaints. Great for travelling with friends or maybe even couples. Not exactly a romantic or boutique hotel. I would definitely visit again.
Booking.com made a mistake and booked a room in an hotel while it was closed.
I went to the hotel yesterday and i found the unplesent surprise. On the door we saw that the same people that keep that hotel also have the Lungomare Hotel.
We called them and they gave us a room with the seaside view without any problem. They didn’t have us pay more given that the hotel was more expensive than the one we booked and they were very very kind.
The breakfast was wonderfull and the room was big enough and very nice!
